To
elevate the standards of business and professional women
To promote the interests of business and professional women
To bring about a spirit of cooperation among business and professional
women of the United States
Berea BPW (Business
& Professional Women) has established a long history of service
and support for working women.
2005 marked our 60th anniversary of advocating for the working woman
of Berea and the surrounding communities. In fact, Berea BPW is comprised
of working women who live or work in neighborhoods all over the greater
Cleveland area including Middleburg Heights, Brook Park, Strongsville,
and many others.
We're an organization
that uniquely encompasses a wide array of professions and backgrounds.
It's an organization where you will find friends...and make connections.

Providing
a multitude of benefits...
Monthly Meetings and Programs.
Berea
BPW meets the second Thursday of every month (excluding July and August)

include gender differences in communications, staying fit through light
exercise, women's leadership styles, as well as programs featuring women
active in the political arena.
Dual
Membership.
When
you join Berea BPW, you automatically become a member of Region 3 BPW/Ohio,
our state organization, and BPW/USA, The National Federation of Business
and Professional Women. Each provides its own membership benefits. That's
a lot of value for your membership dollar!

An
Exciting Newsletter.
Our
monthly newsletter, the Aileron. is filled with upcoming events,
member information, state and national news, and
community events. The newsletter is a great way to stay in touch with
all the activities of Berea BPW.
Membership
Roster.
Every member
receives a membership roster which includes the schedule of programs,
a listing of the executive board, as well as
both home and business addresses and phone numbers for each of our members.
Networking
Opportunities.
Every Berea
BPW event affords you the opportunity to meet new women and learn more
about your fellow BPW members. The diversity
of our membership, which spans all occupations and includes retired members,
provides a great way to make personal and professional connections!

Involved
in the community...
Berea BPW supports many projects that directly assist women and that have
a positive impact in the community. For example, Berea BPW is a regular
benefactor of local women's shelters. Additionally, the members support
fund raising activities every year to sponsor scholarships for non-traditional
women students returning to school. The community is enhanced by Berea
BPW's annual support of the Berea Arts Festival.
Also, Berea BPW encourages active participation in legislative issues
by sponsoring political awareness events and promoting political involvement
by our members.
The results of Berea BPW's commitment to women's issues and to the community
are far reaching and important to our mission as an organization.
