• Business and Professional  Women Organizations' vision is to be the leading advocate for working women. Our mission is to achieve equity for women in the workplace through advocacy, education and information.
• Advocacy - BPW/OHIO local and regional legislative representatives keep members well informed of legislation affecting women and their families' economic, educational and health issues.
• Education - BPW/OHIO and BPW/USA offer scholarships, grants and loans to women who want to achieve greater equity in today's workforce. Over $5 million has been awarded to over 7,000 recipients.
• Information - The Marguerite Rawalt Resource Center in Washington DC contains over 5,000 volumes and over 100 journals and subscriptions, tracing women's progress toward economic equality. The resource center offers  reference and referral service to individuals, media, policy makers and government agencies.
• Member Benefits Include: Business Training Seminars: On-line Job Search and Placement Services: Investment and Insurance Programs: Discount Travel and and Business Products and Services. BPW/OHIO members are also eligible for admittance to BPW/OHIO Retirement Living Centers.
• BPW has over 26,000 members in 1,000 local organizations. Membership is open to all individuals who support our issues. We meet monthly to network and develop new skills in a professional environment.
• BPW supports local domestic violence shelters and works to eliminate violence and discrimination against all
