MARIWYN HEATH MEMORIAL SERVICE

The Memorial Service was officially named The Mariwyn Heath Memorial in 2010 to remember a Lady of Honor. Mariwyn Heath, Past State President 1976-77, was a member of BPW Dayton. She was founder of ERAmerica and an active platform speaker and lobbyist of BPW for the ERA in Congress & fifteen states.  She was lead consultant for the ERA in both the Ford & Carter Administrations with an office in Washington DC. Mariwyn was named to the Ohio Women’s Hall of Fame https://www.ohiohistory.org/research/archives-library/state-archives/ohio-womens-hall-of-fame/# in 1983 and one of the “10 Outstanding Women of the World”. To honor her lifetime of volunteer work, BPW/USA 1919-2009 named its top annual award the Mariwyn Heath Equal Rights Amendment Award.
